I recently stayed at a unique hostel in San Salvador for 2 nights. The building, a renovated mansion, had a lot of character with beautiful art and plants. The owner and staff, especially Andres, were very helpful and knowledgeable. The Chaparrastique room I stayed in was spacious and had a private bathroom. The kitchen was well-stocked and the guests I met were friendly. The hostel was conveniently located near Parque Cuscatlan, perfect for starting free walking tours. I had a great experience at this hostel.

    I do recommend this hotel.

The value for money was great and the room was comfortable. The location was perfect, with amenities nearby, and the staff treated us like family.

More breakfast choices would have made it even better. The terrace could be maintained better.

The hostel has a great location, with a bus station conveniently right across the street and good street food within a minute's walking distance. the common area and kitchen are nice and spacious, providing a great place to meet fellow travelers. the hostel offers hot water throughout the day, ensuring a comfortable stay.

The rooms only have limited plug sockets, which can be inconvenient for charging multiple devices.

my stay at this hostel in San Salvador was even better than my previous experience. The beautiful common areas, big kitchen, and clean shared bathrooms exceeded my expectations. The location was great for exploring the historical center and nearby park.

    Not enough lockers available.

I recently stayed at a budget hotel in a great location near a park in San Salvador. The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The hotel had a well-equipped kitchen and good WiFi. The public areas were pleasant and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The dorm room was basic but had a comfortable bed with clean linen. The hot water showers were also a plus. it was a great place to stay for budget backpackers with all the necessary amenities.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The kitchen was very well equipped and had a great size. The beds were comfortable with fans inside. One advantage I enjoyed was the availability of drinking water for no extra charge. The location was also key, with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions.

The bathroom walls could have been cleaner. Additionally, the staff was not particularly helpful or interested in providing information about the area or transportation.

The Hostal Cumbres Del Volcan Flor Blanca was a beautifully done up house with an interesting history. The Art Deco feel and well-complemented furniture added to the charm. The staff were excellent, and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The owner, Malcolm Collins, was very helpful and provided valuable information about safety in the city.

For us, the location was not ideal for shops. But that's hardly the fault of the property!

The staff was really helpful and friendly, always willing to assist and provide useful information. The kitchen facilities were great, allowing me to cook and enjoy meals with other guests. The location was convenient, with easy access to transportation options and nearby attractions.

The dorm rooms were basic and lacked amenities like desks and lockers, making it difficult to keep belongings secure and organized. The rooms were extremely hot and muggy, making it uncomfortable to sleep.

The kitchen was impressively large and clean, making it a joy to cook in. The shared bathrooms were always spotless, providing a refreshing and hygienic experience. Plus, the staff were incredibly friendly and even took us out for a beer, showing us around town. my stay here was incredible and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable hostel experience.
